Iconic Jamaican dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel is currently still behind bars as for this beginning of the year 2023, marking more than 11 years behind bars.

As his attorney Bert Samuels explained in a recent interview with the Jamaican media Vybz Kartel’s Appeal at the UK Privy Council is still in motion and was not denied and he predicts the appeal will take place between this current year or at the beginning of the next year at the latest.

In the meantime Vybz Kartel found love again with Sidem Ozturk and kept releasing tunes on tunes, music videos and studio albums, despite his long incarceration and the long physical absence from the music scene Vybz Kartel’s name is still and will remain forever Relevant in a scene he contribute to shape and create as what it is today.
