Alborosie won the 16th Annual MOBO Awards 2011 for Best Reggae Act.He was nominated with Jah Cure, Mavado, Damian Marley with Nas, and Khago in the category of Best Reggae Acts. Big Ups Alberto!Hosted by US singer Jason Derulo and Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon the Awards guested a lot of musicians and artists .
Boyz II Men, pop youngster Jessie J, Amy Winehouse’s goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, US singer Alexis Jordan, rappers Tinie Tempah and Tinchy Stryder, and rising Scottish star Emeli Sande were just some of the artists who attended and rocked the Mobo stage.Dionne Bromfield performed Amy Winehouse’s song Love Is a Losing Game, in an emotional tribute to the late star who passed away aged just 27 in July this year.
