One of my Favorite Addi’s song of all times, an old war song from 2009, a Gaza war march, now a classic in dancehall music and a clash hit.
Titled – Last Man Standing the song, a bad man tune, a lyrical masterpiece, was aimed against Gully God Mavado during the heights of the Gaza Gully war in Jamaica, before a peace treaty wanted by the goverment among the two factions, Gaza and Gully was signed. Because the war wasn’t just lyrical sometimes back then.
In the song lyrics Kartel’s deejays “We are the Last Man Standing” meaning he won the clash evrybody else is down on the floor, they did not make it. That is how Kartel won the war with Mavado.
