I-Octane is a super gifted Dancehall reggae sing jay, that rocked New York and New Jersey already last week and from this week on to early March 2011 the Jamaican artist will be on tour across US.

MissGaza is scheduled tomorrow to meet him he is also going to perform and this is BIG!!!

He’s a son of Clarendon, and he appeared on stage at Clarendon Music Awards, where he performed for several editions of the music festival. As you know the location is a very magic land for music talents.

I-Octane, real name is Byiome Muir, he’s young and really talented! He started singing and doing music during school, @ Knox Community College and his friends, that right away recognized his talent, encouraged him to take the music path.

His recording artist name I-Octane, was originally High Octane to symbolize higher energy and continuous work like the one he put into his music, he then changed “High Octane”, into I-Octane.

His exceptional natural singing ability and his musical talent couldn’t be ignored and shortly after giving his music adventure a more business type of approach, he was approached by the famed Donovan Germain to do work with legendary Penthouse Records.

In 2000, he recorded ‘Oh Jah ‘Stepp A Seed’ for Penthouse, plus’ Love In The Streets’ with Beres Hammond, Buju Banton and Assassin.

He also worked with Beenie Man and many others big artists. From then on his career is been on a constant rise, he has a huge catalog of hits and important collaborations.

2010 is been an amazing year for him and 2011 looks even better: he has presence both in Dancehall and Reggae charts, so don’t miss out his live show across North America.
