Recording artist Popcaan, real name Andre Sutherland, also known as the Unruly Boss and HotSkull, is making a name for himself in dancehall reggae music.
The young Jamaican recording artist has been signed to Vybz Kartel’s “Portmore Empire” and has been part of the so-called Gaza, since a young age, spending a lot of time with Kartel, his mentor, in the recording studio.
Since Vybz Kartel’s incarceration, Popcaan has gone solo, focusing on releasing a string of new songs that are making him quickly popular in his native Jamaica and around the world.
Popcaan’s talent and skills have been forged during the years of his Gaza militancy, where he was so lucky to be surrounded by some very talented people, recording a lot of new music every day and learning the trade from the best.
