Reggae Sumfest 2019 is a Live Reggae & Dancehall filled event, the biggest and most legendary stage of all the Summer in Jamaica, that attracts a huge crowd from all over the world, with some of the biggest names in reggae dancehall music delivering legendary live performances.
This year edition featured a crazy line up with Buju Banton, Protoje, Beres Hammond, Dalton Harris, Christopher Martin, Romain Virgo, Etana, Jah 9,and many more top Jamaican artists for the joy of Reggae lovers from all over the world, even the one that could not make it there, have now a chance to get a first row seat and watch it on their favorite device and still enjoy the show for free with a super crispy audio and visual quality.
Dancehall Night was packed with the usual hectic high energy levels and this year also with a bit of drama: the show came to a sudden stop Saturday morning after cops pulled the plug on the event over profanity and Night One’s show also went over its allotted time by two and a half hours.
The baddest female in dancehall music, Spice, did it again! She delivered a great performance and honored, once again, Vybz Kartel live and direct on Reggae Sumfest Stage, dedicating a segment of her Sumfest 2019 performance to World Boss Vybz Kartel. She brought Kartel ‘s presence on stage with her delivering a mix of Kartel’s popular hit songs and praising the King of Dancehall music for being the most influential dancehall artist of our time!
Choosing Kartel’s timeless single “Any Weather” Spice had the audience hypnotized while a huge portrait of World Boss horing the Gaza General was the backdrop!
Spice, explained once again why she is so loyal to Vybz Kartel, the first person to give her that big break and her most acclaimed and popular record [Romping Shop].
