Jamaican World Boss Vybz Kartel is still behind bars in Spanish Town while patiently awaiting to know the verdict of his appeal trial, which wrapped this past July, and he has been receiving visits from his family members, friends, business partners and lately also Ili Sanchea.
Jamaican British rapper Ili Sanchea, that has a song with Kartel, “Ouchea” was among persons that visited Vybz Kartel in jail in last week. The visit has been confirmed by Vybz Kartel‘s right hand man and cousin Sikka Rhymes that shared photos of the two outside the prison.
Sikka Rhymes, Vybz Kartel’s look alike cousin, has been visiting Kartel every week and last week while going bringing food to Addi he was stopped by police, his car searched, a friend that was traveling in the car with him was detained and he was not allowed to proceed and go deliver Kartel‘s his food.
He was asked several questions about why he visits World Boss so much and which type of business the two run and harassed just for his resemblance to his cousin and because he visits and delivers him food.
That did not discourage Sikka Rhymes to go back and bring with him Ili Sanchea that was looking forward meeting Kartel for the first time. Vybz Kartel’s team announced a new album from the “Exiled Pharaoh” that will feature the collaborative song Kartel and Ili Sanchea have out right now “Ouchea“, as well as a new collaboration in the making with Spice and more fire.
Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, has been incarcerated since the end of 2011 and has been sentenced to 35 years behind bars before being eligible for parole, together with other 3 co-accused that also were sentenced to harsh sentences.
