Born Richard Bailey in Kingston Jamaica, Honorebel is a recording artist as well as a song writer and music producer that started his career in the ’90.
His moniker is formed by two words Honor, that  comes from his humbleness, and Rebel that represents his Fighting Warrior Spirit, as the Jamaican star explained in different occasions.
While reggae music is in his foundation this artist cannot be labelled since his music transcended often in different genres from hip hop, to dancehall, soca, pop and more.
