Coming hot off the heels of his Billboard charting single with Nicki Minaj earlier this year, SKENG delivers his debut EP, Beast of the Era, out today in all digital music platforms.
Finding himself at the forefront of Jamaica’s new generation of dancehall artists this young recording artist is bringing a unique voice and perspective, and a rabid fanbase that run up his videos into millions of views within days.
His awaited debut EP “Beast Of An Era” features six tracks produced by some of the biggest dancehall music labels operating in Jamaica and the biggest music producers: from Ditruth Records, John Coop, Rvssian in the featured track with dancehall diva Shenseea “It’s True”, Droptop Records in the track featuring also recording artist Jigsta and again the Rvssian produced track “Thug Life” that wraps up the project.
Skeng released also part 2 of Protocol, featuring Jamaican dancehall artist Tommy Lee Sparta, currently still incarcerated and behind bars, while the new single did not make it on his EP, it is one of the most popular track right now and you can listen to it and watch the music video clicking here.
The EP covers the breadth of contemporary Jamaican music from party anthems to conscious offerings, and features one of Jamaica’s biggest stars, Shenseea, on the sultry and engaging track “It’s True”.
