Incarcerated World Boss Vybz Kartel has pleased his fans old and new once again with his latest album offering “Born Fi Dis” produced by his own imprinting Vybz Kartel Muzik & Short Boss Muzik.
The Jamaican dancehall King has been behind bars for almost 10 years now but his grip on the dancehall scene is strong than ever!
Featuring a portrait of a young Adidja Palmer on the cover, and starting with “1.7.76”, from the first taste this is an album that tells a whole story and will make history, a plan Kartel had since a young age: to build and empire and run it!
The album offers 12 tracks, some already known and some brand new. The album includes “Money Over Love” a song that express Kartel’s total focus on his hustle, while “The Law” is a song for the ladies that features his sons Likkle Addi & Likkle Vybz.
Aikodon, the youngest son of Shorty and Vybz Kartel and Nae Finesse, are also featured on the album in the track “Airforce 1″.
“Born Fi Diss” is loaded with songs for the ladies, like “Biggest Fan,” “Paparazzi” a tune where Kartel’s invites people to show off some style and luxury items, and “In Public”, “More Than A Friday”, a song for the ladies, but also a love song.
World Boss newest album showcases the talent of his sons in the banger, a fans favorite, “Air Force 1” where he lets them take the central stage.
“Love Ya Baby Moma” is another love song, all for his life long partner Tanesha Shorty Johnson and carries a strong message to the youths, to love and respect their baby mothers despite the ups and downs relationships can face during the years.
“The Menace” is a rebel song, a pirate song and one of the best on the album that talks about now a days situation in Jamaica: the roadblocks, the curfews, the state of emergency, and more.
The album closes with another great offering titled “No Cap”, listen and vibe to it. Vybz Kartel and his music will be always there for you!
