The album is sensational for various different reasons: first of all it comes out at the end of September, and as all the Gaza fans well know Vybz Kartel was arrested on September 29th 2011, so the album comes out on the anniversary of his arrest 11 years ago.
Second, his new girlfriend and fiancee’ Sidem Ozturk appears on the album cover art and she is the muse and inspiration behind Kartel’s new studio effort that is dedicated to her.
Kartel himself announced the news about his new relationship to his Gaza Nation and fans via his social media account around a month ago, announcing also the album track list and opening up about his feelings for Sidem.
Truth to be told Sidem already appeared on World Boss Instagram feeds already few years ago, attracting some black lash from his fans that questioned Sidem light skin complexion and Kartel had to school them, and he also included a song titled “Interracial”, where he explains a couple of things on the matter to the critics.

Third because is a very melodic album that includes some good songs and forth because the woman that inspired the whole “True Religion” EP, Sidem, just appeared on an exclusive interview on Fox 5 New York with Lisa Ever talking about her love for Vybz Kartel.
While that could have worked well for the album anticipation and promotion also oversea, it resulted with Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, being transferred from the Horizon Adult Remand Centre to the to the Tower Street Adult Correctional under heavy rain putting his health at risk.
On top of that he has been placed in a section block called “Jail” where he is now monitored with cameras and other electronic devices. After 11 years behind bars give the man a break!
Going back to his True Religion EP fans won’t be let disappointed by both the pristine production of the songs and the quality of lyrics and performance of Kartel.
Worl Boss hast never lost his effortless flow and lyrics, and since his incarceration he kept delivering hits on hits and is still at this day considered the King of Dancehall Music.
Vybz Kartel will know his fate toward the end of this year 2022 or at the beginning of 2023, and his currently awaiting for the UK Privy Council to re-esamine his case and re-examines his appeal trial.
A lawyer for Vybz Kartel is appealing a life sentence for murder. Attorney Isat Buchanan says evidence used to convict him was tampered with before the trial.
