Tommy Lee Sparta, real name Leroy Russell, is a Jamaican dancehall artist that has been launched to stardom from his mentor, incarcerated dancehall star Vybz Kartel that signed him to his Gaza Portmore Empire.
Following Vybz Kartel’s incarceration Sparta kept releasing new songs and developed his own style, called gothic dancehall, which was a first time for the Jamaican genre.
