Birchill Records signed and produced Vybz Kartel’s latest single “Best Friend”, voiced over one of their latest project, Lemonade Riddim, released this past summer.
Vybz Kartel’s “Best Friend” is a new witty release, an explicit hardcore dancehall song, where Vybz Kartel deejays that a pum pum is a man’s best friend, with verses like:
“A tight pum pum is a man’s best friend, Africa she say so a nuh romancing, What a way yuh body thick, Set yuh pon yuh belly fi mi walking stick, Mi wi gi yuh money fi yuh buy panty cuz yuh good good pu**y need privacy ”
Gazanation fans have seen an increase of new music coming out from the incarcerated dancehall ace, favoring collaborations with young female artists, as with Ili Sanchea in “Ouchea” and “Secret Refix” with Shenseea, that many already labeled as a business move, while the official music video for the viral “#WhatUSellin”
dropped.
Vybz Kartel is also preparing a new album, “Exiled Pharoah” that could be due in the upcoming months.
Vybz Kartel, currently still incarcerated at St. Catherine Adult Correctional Centre in Spanish Town, has been awaiting behind bars to know his fate, following the awaited appeal trial that lasted a week and has been over since July 2018, but is still without a verdict at this current date.
Despite Vybz Kartel‘s long incarceration that kept him away from the music scenes for many years, every new release from the jailed Jamaican deejay generates always a lot of hype and trends among his fans worldwide and his name still reigns sovereign on dancehall music.
The same is true for this new single “Best Friend” distributed by Zojak Worldwide and already available for digital download in all major digital music outlets.
