Gaza boss Adidja Palmer aka Vybz Kartel was granted a $3 million bail in the Home Circuit court in relation to the murder case of Barrington‘ Bossy’ Burton this afternoon, in Kingston, Jamaica.
As previously announced the Kartel‘s case was transferred to the Home Circuit Court from the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court this morning.
Vybz Kartel has now been in custody since September 30 2011, when he and four other persons were arrested for possession of ganja.Even if bail application was granted he will have to stay behind bars as he has not been granted bail in relation to the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.

Don’t get me wrong I love his music (listenin right now!) but why are we so focused on his release for the sake of making music? Be it da boss or da bum on ya street corner is every man not subject to the law when he breaks it? Innocent until proven guilty but societys got us believing these icons are above the law & it’s makers. Besides he making crazy tunes from his cell.. his fans (me included) unfortunately are no more important than the lives he’s accused of taking. Consider for a minute the families who want their love one back as badly if not more than his fans want his music….
