Jamaican recording artist Vybz Kartel is not new to international collaboration and remixes, and this one is another good one.
The Jamaican dancehall star is not new to international collaboration, crossing genres and styles, while not official note has been released about this new single, it’s impossible to tell the story behind this song and collaboration, when it was recorded and where.
At the same time we know that Vybz Kartel went to New York for a promo tour that lasted little more than a week in recent years, around 2009/2010, so it is possible that he recorded this song during his recent working trip, when he was able to obtain a VISA to the US and must have just tried to make the best out of this experience.
Since he appeared in several radio station interviews and had multiple press meetings at the time of his travel, it is just easy to imagine while in NYC he also visited recording studios, recorded some songs and spitted some crazy bars with other local artists.
