On Friday, July 6, Adidja Palmer aka di Teacha will release his book, Voice of the Jamaican Ghetto, that portrays him on the cover looking like Malcolm X.
On the cover of his book, Kartel states
“I pray this book helps to change Jamaica forever.”
Unfortunately Kartel, behind bars since September of last year, will miss the launch of his first book Voice of The Jamaican Ghetto .
The book even includes feelings about his mother and parenting.
Kartel co-authored the book and completed his manuscript in the summer of 2011.
The book launch is slated to take place at a car wash just across from the Horizon Remand Centre, where the deejay is currently being held, on Saturday July 7.
Vybz Kartel and his co-author, Michael Dawson, first copyrighted the book in the United States on August 5th, 2011. The publishers have worked assiduously on getting it right.
The release of Voice of the Jamaican Ghetto, Kartel‘s first book, is sure to make more noise and keep the chat about the deejay on for long time.
