Florida based rapper Beach Boii took it to another level teaming up with incarcerated World Boss Vybz Kartel on the remix of his latest single “2 Cold”.
The original single for “2 Cold” has been released in January while the remix came out toward the end of April 2020, with the remix production signed by Reuben Isacc.
For the young rapper the collaboration must have felt like a dream come true, as himself confirmed talking about the remix.
“Vybz Kartel is one of my favorite artists of all times and whn I first starting doing music I always dreamed of doing a song with the Worl’ Boss. We made the right music and kept pushing it like magic, it happen!”Beach Boii explains talking about the collaboration with Addi.
Despite his name Beach Boii grew up in Brooklyn New York with Caribbean influences: his father is from Saint Vincent and his mom is Jamaican and despite moving to Florida, the music video is shot somewhere cold and snowy, but the atmosphere is surely warmed up by the music and the visuals.
This young but versatile artist is well focused and have already toured around the world and released an EPÂ in 2018 called “Bandit”.
The remix for 2 Cold is really popping, sporting a mixture of sounds from rap/hip hop with a hint of Afro bounce and adding Vybz Kartel brought in a fresh new cut.
