Raising Jamaican dancehall star Valiant continues to maintain his growing presence on dancehall airwaves with the release of new hot music.
Valiant & Countree Hype take over the airwaves with “Rasta,” a hypnotic dancehall banger with a highly entertaining vibe. A catchy flute synth sets the tone alongside heavy 808s as Valiant skillfully delivers some witty and boasty lyricism. “Look how mi look inna mi gucci, a wah kinda mood dis?”
The young Jamaican deejay just dropped his latest tune titled “Rasta”, produced by CountreeHype Entertainment and Diplomats Records, that comes with his latest official music video, that dropped past week-end and already raked up more than 500,000 views on YouTube in two days, a clear sign of his incredible popularity, that got Valiant great feedback even from the Rastafarian community.
While Valiant has been enjoying a great deal of success in recent times, dominating Top 10 dancehall charts and exploding with often five songs in the top spots, the Jamaican dancehall deejay, born Raheem Bowes has been a recording artist since 2012.
“Rasta” music video is directed by Kingcham, in the visuals Valiant and his crew can be seen channeling their inner Rastafarian by wearing traditional Rasta colors, red, yellow, and green,even in the scarves. Staying true to his newest tune’s lyrics the Jamaican deejay wears some white Nike Airforce 1 in the opening scene and then changes to some pricey Gucci sneakers as described in the tune’s lyrics.
The viral music video sports also cameos from popular Jamaican dancehall recording artists like Jahvillani, Deep Jahi, Pablo YG, Kraff, and more.
The last part of the clip shows Valiant being approached by a Rastafarian while driving his fancy car. The elder Rastafarian spits some of the lyrics before telling the young artists to continue to record good music and keep elevating.
Recording Valiant is fresh off a big performance in Guyana, where he also hit the streets and gifted young fans money and shared with them some words of encouragement.
