Music producer Dre Skull dropped the new official music video for Vybz Kartel’s latest single “Real Bad Gal”, posted below.
Dre Skull and World Boss first collaboration goes back to Kartel’s now legendary studio album “Kingston’s Story“, that marked the beginning of their collaboration, back to almost ten years ago, Vybz Kartel was still a free man and the New York based music producer flew into Jamaica to work with Kartel on the album, since Addi could not obtain a visa to fly to the US.
Dre Skull is also the producer of Popcaan’s new studio’s album “Forever”, available here for preview and free stream. Popcaan is also a former Gaza’s member and he was a Vybz Kartel’s student. Addi the Teacha took him in his camp at a young age and tought him a lot, over all put him on the map and it’s because of Kartel’s network and connects that Dre Skull met and started working with Poppi, who he met when working withKartelin Jamaica. As you see the whole circle goes always back to Vybz Kartel.
Jamaican star Vybz Kartel and co-accused with theirs families, close friends and business partners, the whole Gaza Nation, in Jamaica and the rest of the world, are all awaiting nervously for a new verdict from the court of appeal’s judges, after the men’s appeal has been now already over for a week.
Vybz Kartel and co accused awaited four years for their chance to a fair trial without tampering of evidence and text messages sent from phones in police’s custody, and while the defense team poked at all the holes, shadows and contradictions of the previous trial, the prosecutors stood their ground and reminded the appeal judges that Kartel, real name Adidja Azim Palmer, had been convicted over 19 counts of evidence and so forth if a jury re-examined the case they would come back with the same sentence.
The sentence all the four men involved in the alleged murder of Clive Lizard Williams are facing has already been priorly called too harsh and unfair and after all the wait, the hopes, the faith, the money that those things cost, the hopes are still high, but everybody would have aspected also several and different defense techniques to be applied in this appeal trial, which could be the last real bite to freedom for Kartel’s and co-associate.
Everybody close and far to the Jamaican ace is holding their breath on the matter since the judges did not come up with a verdict during the appeal, and since they wanted to examine everything very carefully, the appeal court will communicate their verdict to the lawyers once they reach one. Nerve breaking.
